Signum Magnum is the title of the Gregorian Chant for the Introit of the Feast of the Assumption of Virgin Mary, celebrated in the Catholic Liturgy in August 15. Joyous, while observing the solemnity of the feast, Signum Magnum is drawn from the opening of the biblical Book of Revelation, chapter 12. Patrick Lenk's personal heartfelt version of the Chant develops the piece further from the high acappella unison singing of traditional Gregorian Chant to bring out the inner mystery of that prayer in a unique moving way - an approach that already touched the hearts of millions worldwide.
